SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana Police Officers Association (SAPOA) helped provide a turkey and side dishes for 110 Santa Ana Police Athletic and Activity League (PAAL) kids and their families to celebrate Thanksgiving Day 2017.

“Our purpose is to help out as much as possible to bring a smile to the kids of the families,” stated Helping Hands Santa Ana Micheal “Bubba” Gonzalez. “We thought 20 turkeys was a great donation, we now provide over 100 Thanksgiving meals to Santa Ana PAAL families.”

“The rank and file union members of the Santa Ana Police Officers Association are grateful and thankful to give back to our community,” stated SAPOA President Gerry Serrano.

The Thanksgiving meals are being distributed to the Santa Ana PAAL families by members of the Santa Ana PAAL Staff and Hired Guns LEMC.
